Meet your Hosts

Patricia Patterson

Patty or Patricia, has been baking for a long time.  She loves cooking and gardening and is our head Chef.  Her specialty breads will make your mouth water, and the reason we have the best homemade Cinnamon Rolls in all of Alaska!  You might see her relaxing and enjoying a good book.  She is a very avid reader, and if you need a book to read while you are staying with us, ask her, she can suggest many great ones.  She is a very happy and upbeat person and loves meeting new people.  This is why she is such a great hostess.  She brings her small town roots with her as well as her Minnesota charm.  And since this is a family owned and run B&B you get the feeling you are part of the family.  Just don't stand around the kitchen when someone is cooking or you might get put to work .  :)

Pat Patterson

Yes, we have Pat and Pat Patterson....    Mr. Pat, is a fisherman and an avid reader.  You will often find him making the wonderful Cinnamon Rolls our guest enjoy so much!  He loves to garden and work in his workshop.  If your lucky you might see some of his handy work for sale at different times of the year.  He helps his wife with her dynamic bird houses as well, as enjoying a good game of Chess or Cribbage from time to time.

Kevin Patterson

Your resident Fishing expert.  He can help you find a guide if you don't already have one.  He also hand ties most of the flies and leaders we sell here, so if you got a fishing question he is the one to ask.  Kevin is a professional photographer.  He has his own photography business, and you will see many of his dramatic photos throughout the B&B, many of which are for sale.  He does Photography Tours for those of you interested in taking home some long lasting memories on film or memory card.  He works with people of all abilities, as he has taught and tutored photography and photoshop for several years prior to coming to help run the B&B.

Boots

She is our resident fat cat.  She is not a people cat, but loves to watch the squirels and mocking birds play.  But she knows that she is special and that she, like all cats think, owns the place.
